Although we do not specialize with customers from specific industry or business, a large proportion of our work tends to be with small businesses and entrepreneurs, ranging from acupuncturists to the local non-for-profit organization.
How do I choose a good designer or good design company?
The best way to decide is to come up with a simple check list and see if the designer/design company will be a good match for you.
Here is a sample checklist:
- Check for formal education in graphic design, not just software skills.
- Do I like the work produced by this designer/design company?
- When I talk to the designer/design company about my project – are we on the same page?
- Be aware of 'bargain basement' prices, good design takes time and good designers get paid for their work, at the end of the day you'll get what you pay for.
- Last but not least, ask questions – it really works!
What types of projects should I contact you about?
Pretty much any project you can think of! From designing a custom logo from scratch or if you need us to just “freshen-up” an old/dated logo we can bring a new life to your business identity. How much is this all going to cost?
Most of our projects are priced and billed individually. Our prices are frequently tiered to offer many options that fit all types of budgets. Just ask for a quote.
I have my own ideas will you help me deliver my concept?
Of course, great ideas come directly from our clients. But not all ideas are million dollar ideas but sometimes a quirky concept comes along and with a bit of brainstorming they can be turned into the next BIG idea. Just remember that nothing is impossible and there are no silly ideas!
I’m in a super rush! Can you help me?
So you waited a few weeks or even months too long for your project? We may charge a rush fee to help you with time sensitive projects. Just let us know when you need it by and we’ll try to meet your deadline.
Do you provide print and distribution services?
Yes, our customers like to use "full service providers'' rather than separate suppliers for design, print and distribution. Design is obviously core to our business, and we use a small number of qualified suppliers to fulfill our print and distribution requirements.
We most certainly can. If we build your website, we can host it for you with our full service, professional hosting package which is charged monthly or annually. We only host websites that we have built to keep our servers as secure as possible.
Yes, we do. But you don't have to register domain names with us, even if we build your website - it just makes it a little quicker and easier to get your site live online as you don't have to worry about transferring domains in order to point them at our web space. Just let us know before we start your website design.
How do I send you my files/photos?
Simply send using our main contact email info@ssquaredstudio.com or contact us for our FTP server information to upload directly to our server (mostly for larger files).
